About Streamline Solar

Taranaki owned,
Taranaki installed

Solar design and installation for farms, homes and businesses across Taranaki. We do the assessment, the design, the grid application and the sign-off, and our own crew does the install.

Why we started

In 2024 Streamline Solar was founded with a bold vision, to lead the way in delivering solar energy solutions tailored for the residential, commercial and agricultural sectors in the Taranaki region. Recognising the growing demand for reliable and sustainable energy options, the company set out to bridge the gap between rising energy costs and the unique needs of our clients.

From day one, Streamline Solar has been about more than installing solar panels. It is about making a lasting impact, helping our clients take control of their energy expenses by reducing reliance on the grid, and promoting sustainable practices that benefit businesses and the wider community.

The larger vision is to reshape Taranaki’s energy landscape, reducing costs, promoting sustainability and supporting future generations. One property and one community at a time.

How we work

The nine step process

From the first look at your power bill through to lodging the paperwork with the lines company. We handle the grid application and the sign-off, not you.

Step 1

Assessment

We do an initial desktop assessment on your property and review your current electricity tariffs.

Step 2

Site visit

A site visit to assess all your options and understand your energy requirements. We talk through product selection and energy suppliers while we are there.

Step 3

Design proposal

A solar design is proposed, with the quote attached.

Step 4

Design submission

Once the design and quote are agreed, we submit the design application to the power company for approval.

Step 5

Meter change

We request the meter change from your energy provider and lodge the job card.

Step 6

Installation date

We agree a date for the install that suits you.

Step 7

Completion

Job completion, electrical certificate of compliance and electrical inspection.

Step 8

Hand over

Full system hand over with a detailed manual, and access to the app so you can watch what it is doing.

Step 9

COC and ROI

We lodge the electrical COC and the record of inspection with the lines company.
